Well, we wouldn’t quite call it a factory, but our new soap manufacturing workshop is well underway. For all of you that were not aware, we will now be making our bath and body products right on site. 342 Adams Avenue is the new home to all of the butters we (my mother) is currently unpacking. As I write, I can hear her yelling out “Babassu, orange, horsetail…” This is just an update to let you all know that by next week, all of our products will be replenished. Also, I’m thinking about new essential oil blends for lotions, and I’ve got a few body butter/scrub concotions floating around in my brain. Can’t wait to see what comes next. Thank you all for the support you’ve shown us in our new amazing location!

Every time winter comes along we are all faced with the same irritating problem, dry skin. And every winter we all try a thousand products that don’t work as well as we would like them to. But, this winter we, at the Fanciful Fox, have a solution…Babassu Body Butter!
This new creation has the perfect concoction of moisturizing butters and oils to whip your skin into shape, and show once and for all who’s boss! Aloe butter naturally soothes and heals cracked skin, while cocoa butter works its magic to make you smooth and beautiful. In addition, added jojoba oil, with natural vitamin E, moisturizes making you silky all over. The all star of this product, though is the exotic Babassu butter. Babassu butter penetrates skin quickly providing a protective barrier and soothing skin without leaving behind a greasy, oily feeling that so many other items do.
Babassu butter originates in Brazil from the Babassu palm tree. The meat from the babassu nuts are extracted, after they fall to the ground, and pressed to form butter. The Babassu butter that is used in this fancy body creation is wild crafted, which means that the nuts used to make this ingredient came from nature. The trees were not farmed, but instead searched out in the forest and gathered. This process of wild crafting drastically reduces deforestation, and preserves the natural integrity of the land and tree.
